Welcome to PHRM

Welcome to Pender Harbour Resort  home of the modern family getaway on BC’s Sunshine Coast!

check availability at Pender Harbour Resort

Our 6-acre Sunshine Coast resort – with 600′ of waterfront – offers the widest range of accommodation choices on a single property for the Sunshine Coast of BC.  We have a large chalet that sleeps up to 8, a number of cottages with mixed styles and configurations, 3 yurts, 26 fully serviced RV sites (up to 40′, 30 amp power) and 3 tenting sites. The essence of the resort is our 2.5 acre marina with 60 slips accepting boats up to 55′ in length. Our motel sits above a small convenience store, fishing gear shop and laundry room.

Pender Harbour Resort has one of the few boat launch locations on the Garden Bay side of the harbour, motorboat rentals, kayak and paddleboard rentals, a heated swimming pool in summer months, campfire pit with seating, playing field and on-site hall with kitchen available for rent for special functions like weddings, family reunions, or group getaways.

Spring is a wonderful time to visit the Sunshine Coast.  Quiet drives (sometimes you’ll have the winding drive up Hwy 101 all to yourself!), evenings at local pubs and restaurants, art gallery visits on weekends, and a sleepy harbour at your doorstep. Nearby lakes are often like glass, and there are many opportunities for wildlife and nature photography all over the Coast. Hikes into the backcountry are close by, and 45 minutes away is the Dakota Ridge Winter Recreation Area with brand new snowshoe, cross-country and skate ski trails this year along with a redone Quonset Warming Hut.

On days when the ocean is calm you’ll even find folks enjoying  kayaking and paddleboarding. A group of paddlers even joined the Sechelt Inlet Christmas Carol Cruise December 14 for a 3km paddle to the park on the eastern shore. As long as you’re geared up for it and conservative in your paddling it’s an awesome  activity for those folks who can bring their own kayaks in the off-season.

Our Chalet requires a minimum 2 night booking year round and 3 night minimum on holiday weekends. All other cottages can be booked for a single night until peak season. Motel rooms are available in the off-season without a minimum nights requirement, and Yurts are open only for shoulder & peak seasons (April – October).

If you are planning to visit the Sunshine Coast this season, we are taking summer bookings so call today to get your cottage booked.
